EAS’ Organics Department performs routine analyses for our clients including Volatiles (including BTEX), Semivolatiles, Glycols, Alcohols and Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH). We also can perform “Library Search” analysis for VOCs & SVOCs by GC/MS. Our capabilities are increasing all the time as we strive to include all parameters that arise from the necessities and specific needs of our clients. Our staff includes highly trained analysts and chemists to accommodate the demands of complex organic sample analyses and achieve the turnaround times needed in today’s world.
Methodologies include NELAP approved EPA Methods 624 & 625, EPA SW-846 Methods 8260, 8270 & 8015 for VOC, SVOC and Non-Halogenated Organic Compounds analyses. Also, the analysis for TPH by Method TX-1005 is routinely performed for water, soil and solid sample matrices. For EPA and TCEQ compliance of samples, regulatory concerns for RCRA and TPDES are satisfied for our clients as specified and include TCLP & SPLP Waste Characterization of solids & semi-solids, TPDES permit analyses for discharge waters, groundwater and TRRP (Screening) analyses.
Our instrumentation includes Hewlett-Packard, Agilent Technologies, O-I Analytical and Teledyne Tekmar for our GC & GC/MS sample preparation and analysis. With a new state of the art LIMS being implemented in early 2013, our analysis and reporting capabilities will be enhanced to a higher level in order to meet increasing demands for sample throughput, but continue to sustain the highest quality possible.
